We conduct trainings, workshops and various community-based activities to raise awareness about domestic violence and to build allies within the society for survivors. We also collaborate with other organizations and civil society members for the same.

Here is a run-down of everything we’ve been up to in the past few days – and year (s).

MOU Signing Ceremony for Partnership between The Jugnu Project and HerSTASH Financial Wellness Services.

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership between The Jugnu Project and HerSTASH Financial Wellness Services. Together, we aim to work towards providing financial wellness and consultancy services to women entrepreneurs across Pakistan. With this MOU Signing, we are joining forces to introduce numerous women-centric financial literacy programs and encouraging women entrepreneurship.

At The Jugnu Project, we believe that no woman is truly safe until and unless she has the financial freedom to make her own choices. Creating a framework for financial independence and self-sustainability is the last pillar of our work ethos. This is why we have joined hands with HerSTASH to provide services to uplift women entrepreneurs (and women who would wish to be entrepreneurs, or work with likeminded individuals). We will be conducting courses, trainings, workshops etc. with a view towards the same.

We are excited for this new chapter in our journey and look forward to be of benefit to numerous individuals / organizations across Pakistan.

Training on Domestic Violence at the Sindh Social Protection Authority (SSPA) for #16DaysofActivism.

Our founder, Zohra Ahmed, was honored to be invited to conduct a training session for the SSPA, alongside Advocate Khushbaqt Jillani.

The training focused on the types of gender-based violence and domestic abuse usually witnessed while working with survivors on the ground. The training was an interactive session aimed at enhancing the skills and building on the experiences of the coordinators working on-ground for SSPA’s Mamta Program.
